The central buildings provide the exciting setting for the various facilities available to residents.
The indoor heated swimming pool is designed to be used safely by all residents; a flow machine provides extra exercise and therapy benefits.
The minibus is used for shopping trips and theatre visits organised by residents. Local traders deliver to the Priory. Post is also delivered to the resident's door.

An alarm system is installed to provide 24-hours response to residents in the case of emergencies; the Caretaker is resident at the Priory.
The forum, originally the Chapel, remains the hub of the Priory, providing a fine setting for meeting friends; morning coffee, optional twice weekly lunches, concerts, talks and meetings all take place here.
The management company encourages the interest and involvement of residents; general meetings are held three times a year, and the informal liaison group meets regularly.
The Octagon, the restored chapter house, is used for art groups, snooker and other social activities. The Sun Lounge encloses the central courtyard, with paved terrace overlooking the grounds.
The Priory scheme was carried out between 1986 and 1992 by Clennon Developments Limted, who since their establishment in 1962 have built an enviable reputation, winning a number of architectural and quality awards.
Since the first residents moved in during 1987, Clennon Management Limited has been responsible for the ongoing management of the Priory on behalf of the residents.
