Homes at the Priory


The apartments and cottages vary in size and layout but all provide spacious and elegant accommodation. Most have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Sitting rooms generally have French windows opening onto a paved terrace or balcony; many of the homes have separate dining areas. Kitchens were fully fitted with oak units, built-in oven, microwave and hob, extractor hood, waste disposal unit and refrigerator/freezer. Fitted wardrobes were provided in the main bedroom.

Great care was taken to achieve high levels of thermal and sound insulation; electric storage heaters provide heating. Each apartment or cottage was fully carpeted, and finished to a very complete specification, with traditional joinery and moldings.

Of the total of forty-four units, twenty-five are in the original buildings and twelve in the splendid new building, Priory Court. Six cottages form Priory Yard, based on the farm buildings and lodge, complete the scheme. All units have an allotted parking space or garage. 

It should be noted that, in some cases, minor internal alterations may have been carried out since the original development was completed.  When apartments and cottages become available on re-sale, current details and specification should be clarified.
